Defibrillator donated to Coneysthorpe by life-long resident Alf Prest

A COMMUNITY defibrillator has been installed at Coneysthorpe Village Hall thanks to a donation by a life-long resident.
Alf Prest, who is the only resident born in Coneysthorpe who still lives there, provided the funding for the equipment, which has been put on the outside of the village hall.Eddie Prest, from the village hall committee, said: “The building was a school until 1958 when it closed. “A few years later it was reopened as a village hall by television cook Fanny Cradock. “The village hall is now used for a variety of activities, including league tennis table, fencing and musical gigs.”
