What’s On

Upcoming events!

Due to Covid-19 we currently have no planned events, but as soon as we can we will let you know what is planned!

Itch to Stitch

Itch to Stitch is a great way to find the time to finish that project whether it be knitting, crotchet, cross-stitch, tapestry etc. or just come along for a good chat!  Cost is £2 a session which include refreshments and biscuits.  No need to book, just turn up and we look forward to seeing you there!  Currently, the group has been held by the very kind generosity in one of the villager’s home instead of the Hall.  Currently the sessions are on hold, but if you would like to put your name down, please ring or text Sarah on 07967159630 or alternatively email, coneysthorpevillagehall@gmail.com.

Past events

Lewis Hamilton Band – Saturday, 7 September 2019

Yet again we were treated to a great evening from this great band.  Along with the bar and raffle over £400 was raised which is a magnificent effort and will greatly help the funds of the Hall and village Chapel.  This is proving a popular event and next year we are going to try for the best audience yet (if they agree to play again of course!).

Village Fete – Sunday 7 July 2019

The annual Village Fete held on 7 July again was a great success and thank you to all who helped this year to make it such a success again.  The weather was very kind as always and over £1,000 was raised so thank you to everyone who came and made this such a great event.  There will be another Fete in late June, early July 2020, so please keep an eye on the website for the date!

Jazz in the Village on Sunday, 16 June 2019

This was a lovely event with relaxing smoothing jazz and we hope that Ian Millar on saxophone and Dominic Spence on piano will return to give a repeat performance in the future.

Lewis Hamilton Band – Saturday, 1 September 2018

We don’t know how, but the Lewis Hamilton Band surpassed the performance from last year!  It was a great evening and the turn out was superb to hear this wonderful band.  Along with the bar and raffle over £500 was raised which is a magnificent effort and will greatly help the funds of the Hall and village Chapel.  A huge thank you to Kasha and Nick Hamilton for stepping in and taking over the organisation due to illness, also to Stephen and Nicola Hall for all their help too.
