We have a film crew in the Village in the coming week using our beautiful village for a backdrop and using the green for a fete! We could give them some good tips! They are generously donating funds to the Village Hall and Chapel which is very much appreciated, so watch out for some closed roads and great activity!

Also, we have the Lewis Hamilton Band gig on Saturday, 7 September so please put in your diaries and we look forward to seeing you there for another great evening of fantastic music. There will be a licenced bar and of course a raffle, any prizes gratefully received! The gig will start at 8:00 pm but the doors will be open from 7:30, plenty of time to buy a drink and raffle ticket.

The Village Hall Committee are working hard to try and raise funds to ensure the future of the Hall so we can attract more people to use it and thus generate more funds for it’s upkeep. We have plans in place for this so please keep an eye on the website for updates.

With this in mind, we are trying to organise more events and have three already in the diary. Jazz in the Afternoon on Sunday, 16 June, the annual Village Fete, Sunday 7 July 2 – 4pm and the Lewis Hamilton Band on Saturday, 7 September.

The Annual General Meeting took place on 13 December 2018 and we have recruited two new members to the Committee.
